Dancin In The Streets 2010
STUART - Santa dropped off a special guest to visit the children of the East Stuart Youth Initiative on December 23rd. Jazmn Guy, 19, from West Palm Beach, who starred in the Hollywood movie "Call Me Claus" with Whoopi Goldberg, came to visit the children. Guy sang "Oh Holy Night" for the kids immediately after they watched the movie as a part of their holiday camp.
Dajiah Mitchell, 10, of the East Stuart program asked, "Did you have to read from a teleprompter while you were filming with Ms. Goldberg?" "No, we had to memorize a script," Guy explained.
"It was nice to sing for the kids, "Guy said. "I wondered if they recognized me because I was only 11 when I was in the movie."
Guy is now attending the University of Florida and majoring in Public Relations. She is also a lead vocalist with the award winning show band SOLID*GOLD which features celebrities like Guy and some of the former American Idols.
